In general, TRACE streamlines managed healthcare communication processes for transactions such as precert, notification of admission or discharge, case management reviews, verification of benefits, and eligibility. Each transaction is archived for later retrieval through the TRACE DCR Tracker interface. Archived records can be searched and retrieved for use in revenue cycle management, collection, and denials management.

Records can be easily shared with MCO during appeals process
