Automated Call is the original VoiCert application that gets provider staff off hold when calling payers with precert, notification, and concurrent review requests.
Instead of calling the payer directly, the provider, including physician offices, calls the TRACE server and is voice-prompted for the specific demographic information desired by the specific payer.
The provider user speaks the information, as well as any clinical information, and then hangs up.
Automated Call reduces the typical 30-minute precert process into about three minutes.
The TRACE server calls the nurse back, delivers the payer's response into voice mail. and archives the entire call for retrieval through DCR Tracker. |
